Essence Hello Autumn LE Multi Color Powder

Essence has come out with yet another gorgeous limited edition. This time it’s called “Hello Autumn” and as you can guess, it’s completely fall themed. One of the products from this limited edition was actually one my August wishlist, and now I finally found it in stores. It’s the multi color powder.

This powder is packaged in see through plasic, which is quite normal for Essence. I do like the look of it, and the fact that you can see the product through it. On the lid on the powder it says “Hello Autumn”, which of course is the name of the LE. I like it, I really do. I love fall and I’m so super excited for it. I really like that they already came out with this collection.

This powder is in the color 01 Autumn & The City. I love the names Essence gives their products! It’s actually the only color available, they don’t have a different shade. Essence claims that this powder gives you a very subtile shimmer and that it gives your skin a soft radiance. Well, that sounds good right!

The powder consists out of four different shades. It varies from a darker brown color to an almost white color. I like the pattern the powder has, with the leaves. It gives the powder something special and unique. Something that makes it stand out and makes it worth buying. I really like how they did that.

The only thing that is not quite clear to me is what Essence thinks this product is. They call it a “Multi Color Powder” but that’s not a real clear term. It would have been nice if they would have called it a highlighter or whatever. That would give some clarity.

Here are the swatches of all the colors, from the lightest to the darkest. The last swatch are all the colors mixed. I like the quality of this powder. The powder feels extremely soft, almost silky and the pigmentation is quite good for the amount of money you pay for it. I love that the product does have some shimmer in it, but not too much. It doesn’t give you that disco ball effect. Just a healthy glow.

I like using this product as a highlighter. Eventhough all colors together look quite dark for a highlighter, I just like it. If you leave out the darkest shade, it’s already a lot lighter.

All together I’m super happy I got this powder. It’s just an eyecandy for your make-up collection and it works very well. Well done Essence! This powder is available at Kruidvat, Trekpleister and online for €3,39, which is a great price for a powder like this. Love it!
