A few days ago in a New In post I showed you I got this Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. A palette which I’ve been wanting for a very long time, and I finally got it. If you’re curious about the quality of it, keep on reading!

I want to start off with the box. It comes in this really pretty pink and gold box. I love the way Too Faced packs it’s products. This looks already so cute! The box feels very heavy (because of the palette that is in there ofcourse). I like that the part in the middle, in which the name of the palette is printed is not just a simple print, you can really feel the little dots. I like that. It gives it a more luxe touch.

On the back of the box are all colors displayed with their names. It also says some things about the palette and the ingredients. I just like the way the box looks.

Another nice thing about it is that it comes with a little folder in which they show you three looks you can create with this palette. That is something Too Faced always does. I like that they do that, even though I personally wouldn’t wear the looks they show you. It’s just a fun little extra you get.

The palette looks very pretty, cute but still luxe. It closes with a magnet (that you cannot see). It feels kind of heavy and not plastic at all. I think the palette is made of tin of metal. I don’t really know. On the inside is a little mirror which I always like. That’s just really easy for when you take it with you while you’re travelling.

This are the colors. The palette contains 16 colors of which 2 are double sized. The double sized ones are the two highlighters. I like that they are bigger because you use a highlighter with every look so you run out of them fasten in comparison to the other colors which you switch up more often.

My favorite colors are by far Marzipan, Hazelnut, Crème Brulee, Haute Chocolate and Amaretto. I like those a lot. They are perfect for an everyday look. What I like about this palette is that it’s so diverse. You can make such a lot of different combinations with these colors. They are perfect!

Please don’t mind my brows, I know they look horrible.

Instead of showing you the swatches, I decided to show you a look I created with this palette. This way you can really see how it works on the eye, since this can be quite different from how it looks on the swatch. I really like the look I made. It’s a really wearable and still glamorous look. The first thing that really stood out to me was that the quality is so amazing. You don’t have to build up any color, if you just apply it once it’s already very intense and you have just the right amount. That is something I don’t experience with a lot of palettes.

The eyeshadows are a bit powdery, but it’s not annoying or anything. It doesn’t really bother me while using it. The best thing about this palette is that it really smells like chocolate. When you open it up you can already smell it, you don’t have to put the palette close to your nose to smell it or anything. I like that they did that!

For this look I used:
– Urban Decay primer potion (sample size)
– P2 Forever Intense eyeshadow cream
– Too Faced Chocolate bar: Marzipan
– Too Faced Chocolate bar: Milk Chocolate
– Too Faced Chocolate bar: White Chocolate
– Too Faced Chocolate bar: Amaretto
– Forever21 lash curler
– Maybelline Go Extreme mascara

All together I have to say that this palette is just perfection. I love it so much! It’s so pretty and contains the perfect colors for me. I would really reccomend it to anyone who likes natural shadows. It’s €57,15 and available at http://www.lookfantastic.com.
