The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser

Today I have a review for you guys about one of my favorite skincare products ever. It’s the The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser. When I first got this, I didn’t really know what to do with it, but after a while it became something I couldn’t live without. The product comes in a small flat tube. The tube is green and on the front they have this sticker with a leaf pattern. This fits really well in the Tea Tree theme. The tube contains 30 ml of product, which is decent. The product comes out of the tube through this little piece in the front, in which there is a little hole. This way you can perfectly control how much product comes out of it.

This product promises that it makes your pores look smaller and your skin feel purer. It smoothes, primes and instantly mattifies. The mattifying part got me while I was looking through the skincare products searching for something to save me from my oily skin. I know that almost all products made for combination to oily skin promises to mattify your skin, and almost none of them really do, but this stuff is different. The product sinks into your skin really quickly, and it doesn’t leave any residue, which is already a plus. After that your skin will look quite normal. Not oily, but not super matte, which is great ’cause you need your healthy glow.

Throughout the day my skin will not get as oily as it would normally be, especially when I use this product in combination with my favorite powder. It will just look like I have normal and healthy skin.

The product does look a bit weird actually. It’s a light yellowish substance and it has quite a different texture. The great thing is that it doesn’t feel oily at all. It feels good. It’s nothing like the normal gel moisturizers, but it’s also not like a creamy cream. I can’t really explain it, but I think that you can get quite a great impression of what it looks/feels like from the picture.

I do have to be honest and say that at first I didn’t really think that this product made any difference at all, until the day I forgot to use it and my skin was oily as crap. Ever since that day I appreciate this product a whole lot more. It’s my saviour.
