Most of you probably know that the MUA Undress Me Too is a dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. It’s also not a surprise that I love the MUA palettes, since I did a really positive worth the hype on them. But knowing that it’s a dupe and that the quality is great doesn’t mean that you know the differences. Today I’ll be showing you guys both palettes up close and comparing the too, including swatches! If you’re curious to see how close they are, keep on reading!
Naked – Devotion – Shy – Fiery – Lavish – Dreamy – Tranquil – Exposed – Reveal – Wink – Obsessed – Corrupt
Foxy – Half Baked – Bootycall – Chopper – Tease – Snakebite – Suspect – Pistol – Verve – YDK – Busted – Blackout
These are the two palettes. On top is the MUA Undress Me Too and on the bottom the Urban Decay Naked 2. As you can see, most colors look pretty similar. The only difference I notice while looking at both palettes is that the Urban Decay palette has a lot more shimmer in it than the MUA does. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, if you don’t like a whole lot of shimmers, it’s actually a better fit for you.
The only colors that in my opinion aren’t really similar are Reveal (MUA) and Verve (UD). Verve is a lot cooler toned than Reveal. Personally I prefer Reveal over Verve, I just think that Reveal is prettier, but that’s just a personal opinion.
Naked – Devotion – Shy – Fiery – Lavish – Dreamy (MUA Undress Me Too)
Foxy – Half Baked – Bootycall – Chopper – Tease – Snakebite (Urban Decay Naked 2)
These are the swatches of the first six colors of both palettes. These swatches really show that the Urban Decay palette is a lot more shimmery, which makes te colors more intense. The MUA swatches aren’t bad either. I think that the quality is great and the most important thing, they look very similar to the UD shadows.
It might look like the MUA shadows are quite different and less pigmented, but when you use them on your eyes you can’t really see any difference between the two. The only difference might be that you have to build the MUA shadows a bit more up than the UD ones, but when that’s done, they are really similar.
Top row: Tranquil – Exposed – Reveal – Wink – Obsessed – Corrupt (MUA Undress Me Too)
Bottom row: Suspect – Pistol – Verve – YDK – Busted – Blackout (Urban Decay Naked 2)
These are the swatches of the other 6 shadows. Again, I’m very impressed how similar they are. Especially Tranquil and Suspect, Exposed and Pistol and Obsessed and Busted look pretty much the same. The only big difference here is the black color. The MUA black shadow (Corrupt) is a bit less pigmented than Blackout by Urban Decay. Still, it’s not bad. It’s still really pigmented. When you build it up a bit you can get the same results.
All together I think that the palettes are really similar. I hope that this article is useful, and that it gives you a good overview on how both of them look and their similarities and differences. If you would like me to do the same thing with the Naked 1 and the MUA Undress Me let me know in the comments!
The Urban Decay Naked 2 palette costs €45,- and the MUA Undress Me Too €5,99.
I love the MUA palette! I definitely think for how cheap it is it is so pigmented! Such a great buy!

Wat leuk, deze vergelijking! De pigmentatie van UD is natuurlijk wel beter, maar ik vind de pigmentatie van MUA alsnog hartstikke prima! Zeker als je hem nat zou aanbrengen.
