Makeup Revolution Death By Chocolate Palette

Today I’ll be reviewing this gorgeous palette by Makeup Revolution. It’s the Death By Chocolate palette, which is inspired (but not a copy) of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. I personally really love the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, so I was very excited to try this one. If you’re interested, keep on reading!

The palette comes in this dark brown with pink details box. On the front it says the name of the palette and on the back it shows you which colors are in here. The palette consists out of 16 shadows, including two double sized ones.

The palette itself looks like a chocolate bar. I think this one looks slightly prettier than the one by Too Faced because of the melted chocolate part on the end.

The shadows are all kind of cool toned. I normally prefer warmer colors, but I do like these shades a lot. I really love the purple shade (last shadow, second row) and the really pretty greyish brown color (third shadow, last row).

1st row: White Light – Don’t Let Go – Break Me Up – Consume Me – All Is Lost.
2nd row: Lick Me – Fool’s Gold – One More Bar – Devour Me – Tear The Wrapper – Love You To Death.
3rd row: Pray For Me – Dipped – Tease Me – Set Me Free – Bring Down Angles

The quality of this palette is amazing. All shades, literally every single one of them is really pigmented and they are very intense. They are a bit powdery, but I don’t mind that at all. I just really love the look of these shadows!

White Light – Lick Me – Pray For Me – Fool’s Gold – Dipped – Don’t Let Go – One More Bar – Tease Me.

As you can see the pigmentation is absolutely amazing. Fool’s Gold and Don’t Let Go are my absolute favorites. I am so impressed by these colors, I don’t even know what to say.

Break Me Up – Devour Me – Set Me Free – Consume Me – Tear The Wrapper – Bring Down Angles – Love You To Death – All Is Lost.

Same story here. It’s just impressive how pigmented these eyeshadows are. I was especially impressed by the black shade, it is so pigmented it was hard to get off of my arm.

All together I think this palette is a winner. I really like this version, since it’s different from most other palettes I own, but it also comes in a warmer toned version which is more similar to the Too Faced one.
