Oriflame The One Illuskin Powder & Concealer

In my make-up routine powder and concealer are two essential steps. Therefore I’m always trying out new ones, and hopefully one day find the one. Today I’ll be reviewing the Oriflame The One powder and Concealer. If you’re intrested, keep on reading!

First of all the powder. This is the Oriflame The One Illuskin Powder. It’s in the shade medium, and eventhrough I’m actually light skinned, this one does work for my skin tone. The powder comes in a purple packaging with gold letters on it. I really love the look of it, it looks really luxurious. I like how different it looks compared to all my other powders.

When you open it up you’ll find the powder and a mirror. I really love it when there is a mirror in a product/packaging because that makes it the perfect product to take with you while travelling since you don’t always have acces to a mirror. I think that’s really a plus.

The powder itself works just like any other powder. I haven’t really noticed anything different about it. It’s just your normal powder. It does keep me from getting oily for a limited amount of time, just like most other powder and it makes my makeup last longer.

I do think that it gives your makeup an extra pretty finish. It’s not as powdery looking as other powders are.

Next up is the Oriflame The One Illuskin Concealer. This one is in the shade light. The concealer comes in a small tube which is for the biggest part transparent and has some purple and gold detailing. I think those details make it look extra special and luxurious.

The concealer comes out through this little pointy thing. I like this system because I feel like it’s very hygenic and you can easily decide how much product you want to get out.

When it comes to the quality of the concealer I’m very positive. I love that the color is light enough for my skin and that it’s very easy to blend. I would say that the coverage is medium, which is great if you don’t have a lot you want to cover or if you want to use it as a highlight.

The concealer is quite thin, which has its pros and its cons. I like it because it makes blending the concealer in way easier, but I dislike it because it mostly means it doesn’t have the best coverage.

Overal I’m very happy with these two products. I don’t think they are absolute faves, but I do enjoy using them.
