For Christmas my mom got me this super pretty Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral palette. Pixi is a new brand to me, but I’m already very excited about it. If you’re interested in reading more about this amazing eyeshadow palette, keep on reading!
The palette comes in this long green packaging. There is some pretty gold detailing on the lid. On the back it gives you some information about this palette such as the shade and the ingrediënts. This palette is in the color Plum Quartz.
Opening this palette is a real struggle for me. It’s quite hard to do when you don’t want to ruin your nails, but using tweezers it’s done in a split second.
With the palette comes a little brush. It has a sponge applicator on both sides. I don’t think I’ll ever use that brush, but it’s nice that they put it in there for the people that don’t have any eyeshadow brush, but do want to use this palette.
The best thing about this palette are obviously the colors. I love purply shades when it comes to eyeshadow because I think that they look really good with brown eyes. My favorite color in the palette is therefore the purple one. I love that it’s a deep purple shade because that makes it more wearable but at the same time very interesting and special.
I like that this palette includes your highlighting shade, your lid shade and some crease colors. This way you can make an entire eyeshadow look using only this palette.
The pigmentation is amazing too. All colors in this palette have outstanding pigmentation. They are super smooth and easy to blend. They do look slightly powdery on the swatch, but on the eye they are absolutely perfect.
Over all I think this palette by Pixi is amazing and I’m pretty sure I’ll get it in another shade as well. The quality is great and the colors are stunning. It’s one of the prettiest palettes in my collection.
