Disappointing products

Sometimes you buy something, think that it is everything you ever wanted. That this is the product you’ve been looking for forever. And when you use it for the first time you’re kind of disappointed, but you don’t want to believe it yet. After a few times of using it, you start to become real again and you realize that this product is not at all what you expected it to be. Today I’ll be sharing those products with you. Let’s start off with one of the worst products ever created. It’s the Catrice Prime and Fine Color Correcting primer. I initially wanted the matte version but it was sold out, so I went for this one. It’s green, which makes it color correcting. The funny thing is, is that the green won’t disappear and that there are chuncky glitters in this stuff that will be visible after you blend it into the skin. So you’ll be left looking like a glitsy alien. That’s exactly want you want isn’t it?!

This is by far the worst product I ever bought. I was looking at the OPI polishes and the lady that worked there said that the polishes looked exactly the samen on your nails as they look on the swatches there. I was very excited that I finally found a high coverage light nail polish so I bought it. I immidiately put it on. And no, I didn’t went home first. And wow, biggest disappointment ever. It’s completely clear. What the hell lady. I wasted 14 euro’s on this shit!

Another disappointment is this Catrice lipstick in Be Natural. No, this doesn’t give you the perfect “my lips but better look” or the “natural lips” look. No this gives you the “are you okay?” look or the “are you a zombie?” look. No, this stuff doesn’t look good on me at all.

The next product is the Rimmel Keep Calm lipbalm. I was very excited and positive about it at first, but not anymore. I just can’t get over the horrible scent and the pigmentation is just horrible. It looks cute, I have to admit that, but it doesn’t hydrate your lips and it doesn’t add a bit of color at all. It’s just crappy.

I went wrong with lip products a lot haha. This is the Micheal Todd Crème Glacé lipgloss. It looked very luxurious and expensive on the picture, and the color looked good to me as well so I decided to order it. I was very excited about it until I put it on my lips. I don’t know what it is, but the color makes me look dead and the texture is weird and gross. I am not going to say what it looks like, ’cause that’s inappropriate and nasty, but trust me, it’s not good.

The last product is this ELF nail polish. I do have to say that I love the color, but the staying power is absolute crap. After a day I already spotted some chips. If I polish my nails I want it to last. And with that I mean longer than one day. I do think it’s really sad that it chips so quickly ’cause it’s so pretty.
