The Body Shop English Dawn White Gardenia

The Body Shop is basically my favorite store, which might not come as a surprise to most of you, and therefore I really love testing their products. Today the product I’ll be reviewing is a showergel in the scent English Dawn White Gardenia. If you’re interested, keep on reading!

The showergel comes in this really pretty packaging. The packaging is different than usual since it’s from a special edition collection. On one hand I love the packaging. I think it looks very pretty because of the little image on it. But on the other hand, I’m not sure if I like that color a lot. It kinda reminds me of grandmothers. I’m not sure why.

Something I love about TBS is that they always use lots of natural ingrediënts and that they ingrediënts are always fair trade. I think that is something really important, and something TBS has to be proud of. Another nice thing about it is that it is also animal testing free!

Back to the product itself. On the back it says the following:

“Infused with English Dawn White Gardenia extract. A glorious and lively fragnance blend of opulent white flowers, inspired by the demure scent of an English garden at dawn. Cleanses and refreshes your skin. Enriched with Community Fair Trade honey from Ethiopia.”

I really love how they described the scent. I think that is the perfect and only way of describing this scent. It actually really reminds me of an English garden at dawn, even though I’ve never been in one. The fact that there is honey in here is amazing too. That adds that extra bit of moisture you need.

When it comes to cleasning your skin, this showergel is fine. It does what it is supposed to do, which is cleanse your body and leave you smelling great. The cleansing part is just fine. It’s not spectacular, but that is not what I expected or was looking for when I bought this anyways. When it comes to leaving your body smelling amazing this showergel gets an A++. I just love how the scent lasts. It’s not just a little hint of scent in the shower. No. It’s more than that. After your shower you can actually still smell it, in a positive way.

Over all I’m super positive about this showergel. I think the smell is amazing. Every time I smell it I like it even more. It does what it is supposed to do and it leaves you smelling amazing. That’s basically all you need isn’t it?!
