Today it’s time for another The Body Shop review. This product has been in my collection for quite some time now, so I decided it was time to review it. I’m talking about the The Body Shop body mist in the Shea scent. If you’re interested, keep on reading!
The body mist comes in this long slim glass bottle. The lid is silver and shiny. The overall look of the bottle is not special, not super classy, but I like it. It’s simple. Even though I wouldn’t mind it if there was a little bit more going on, this is fine too.
The bottle contains 100 ml of perfume. For perfumes 100 ml is a lot, but since this is actually a body mist and not a perfume it’s not that impressive. The thing with body mists is that they are pretty light. It’s not a strong scent, so if you really want to smell it you have to spray on a little more.
When it comes to the scent, I’m a fan. Shea is one of my favorite scents from TBS. It’s a pretty warm and nutty scent. I think it’s a pretty likeable scent, it’s not very specific or different. The thing I don’t like about these body mists in general is that the scents are pretty basic. Of course you can have a basic scented body mist in your collection, but nobody needs 8 basic scents. I’d rather smell like something special and perfumy than like a nut. I’d rather wear a Victoria’s Secret body mist than this one.
The body mist is a pretty light weight scent as I mentioned before. I do like that about it. It doesn’t last for ages. I personally don’t even smell it any more after about 2 to 3 hours. For a body mist that is not a big deal, it’s normal that they are not that strong and fade quickly. I do kind of like that about it. If you want to wear a heavier scent later on you can.
All together I think this body mist is a nice product, but it’s not something I would go crazy for. It’s a nice basic scent which is nice to have, but I feel like the scent is just.. basic. When it comes to the quality I have to say they are pretty good. You don’t need to take a bath in it in order to smell like it and it lasts a decent amount of time.
The TBS Body Mist in Shea is available at their stores and webshop for €12,-.
I hope you enjoyed reading this review, and let me know which TBS body mist scent is your favorite!

Lijkt me echt een super fijn product!
Oehh lijkt me heerlijk! 🙂
ziet er goed uit!
