Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish

Even though eyeshadow is my favorite makeup product, I love nail polish a lot as well. Therefore I love trying out new ones and reviewing them for you guys. Today I’ll be reviewing on of Rimmel’s 60 Seconds nail polishes. If you’re interested, keep on reading!

The Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish comes in the small transparent bottle with the black lid. The look of it is very simple and basic, but still really pretty. I have to be honest with you guys and say that I actually secretly love the way the zero looks. The little arrow is just way too adorable haha.

The reason why this nail polish is called 60 seconds is because Rimmel claim’s it dries within 60 seconds. Before we jump in into any other details, I can already tell you that’s nothing but the truth.

Besides the 60 seconds promise Rimmel also claims that the brush makes it possible to apply the polish within one second per nail. That might be true if you’re a nail polish-apply-guru, but I’m not so it’s not true. I do have to say that the way the brush is shaped is very nice and does make it easier to apply. It’s pretty thick and it’s rounded at the end which makes it easy to properly polish your nails and don’t get any polish on your cuticles.

The polish I’m reviewing today is called “430 Coralicious” which is, like the name already says, a coral color. I got this polish from my sister because she didn’t like it anymore and she knew I loved this color a lot (I always chose this one when we were polishing our nails) which is obviously very sweet of her!

The coverage of the nail polish is absolutely fine. It covers decently within one layer, but I do think a second layer is necessary if you want it to look good. When it comes to drying I have to say it takes a while. I applied it at night and when I woke up there were some marks in it from my hair or my bed, I don’t know. Luckily it wasn’t that bad and it still looked pretty decent, but it’s not fun when that happens.

The staying power is also decent. It’s not the best, but it’s fine. It stayed on my nails for about 3 days, which is average.

Overall I think the Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish is a great nail polish is you’re looking for something basic and nothing too special. If you’re looking for something that will last a week or two you should take a look at something else, since this one just doesn’t stay on that long.

The Rimmel 60 Seconds nail polish is available at drugstores for €3,99.

I hope you enjoyed reading this review, and let me know which nail polish brand is your favorite!

  1. 60 seconds vind ik altijd fijn! Maar het is bij bijna elke nagellak zo dat ze afbladeren. Daarom gebruik ik Sandstyle van P2! Door het zand blijven ze zitten als cement hahaha! πŸ˜€
