P2 Sheer Glam Lipstick

One of my favorite drugstore brands is P2. It’s one of the best affordable brands out there and therefore I love trying their products. Today I’ll be reviewing one of their lipsticks from the Sheer Glam range. If you’re interested, keep on reading!

 

The lipstick comes in this gorgeous red packaging. Compared to other lipsticks it quite a big packaging. I love the look of it a lot. When I look at this lipstick, I really feel like I’m looking at a high quality not that affordable lipstick, while I am in fact looking at a very affordable lipstick. I think that is something P2 does great. They are definitely amazing in creating pretty packagings.

The color I have is called “048 Lovely Trust” which is a gorgeous kind of old pink color. The color doesn’t contain any shimmer of shine at all. It’s just a really pretty creamy lipstick. The color itself is absolutely gorgeous in my opinion. I love slightly basic and wearable colors, and this one is definitely like that.

The lipstick itself has a little P2 logo stamped in it. I kind of like the look of that, even though the logo is completely gone after using it twice. I don’t mind that it fades that easily because it doesn’t really add anything.

I do have to say that I feel like you don’t get a lot of product when you buy this lipstick. I feel like every lipstick is a bit like that, so it’s not shocking or anything, but it’s true. I never knew lipsticks were this small. The bright side is that this lipstick is really creamy and pigmented, so you don’t need a lot of product so you won’t run out of it quickly.

As I mentioned before this lipstick is really pigmented. I think you can tell from the picture. I am in love with the texture. This is the most creamy lipstick I’ve ever felt on my lips. It’s not heavy, sticky or dry at all, but it’s also not too creamy in a way it looks bad. Some creamy lipsticks tend to accentuate your chapped lips but this one doesn’t. This one actually feels pretty moisturising.

The staying power is pretty impressive as well. It does survive a drink or a snack, not a full on meal but you can’t really expect that. It also survives lots of talking and it won’t leave super obvious marks behind if you kiss someone.

Over all I’m super positive about this lipstick. It has definitely become one of my absolute favorite lipsticks which I use with lots of love. If I get the chance to buy some more, I definitely will and I really recommend you trying one of their lipsticks too!
