A little while ago Maxfactor launched a new blush range called “Cream Puff”. The first time I saw them I fell in love. I knew I had to get at least one of them. After a while I actually did, and today it’s time to review it. If you’re interested, keep on reading!
The Maxfactor Cream Puff blush comes in the most gorgeous packaging. I feel like Maxfactor did a great job when it comes to that. The blushes look so professional and chique. The little pot is black and the lid is clear with some gold detailing. I really like the look of it. I did expect them to be slightly larger, but I have to say it’s a pretty small blush. Luckily it’s a baked blush so it’s round and even though it’s only a small little pot it will last long.
I bought the blush in the shade “15 Seductive Pink”. It does come in 3 other shades. It was a difficult decision, but I feel like this one is the most unique and pretty color. Seductive pink is a very pretty slightly darker pink color. I really like that it’s not just a pink color, but that it has some bits of lighter pink and darker pink in it too. I think that pattern looks really gorgeous.
All four blushes from the collection are kind of shimmery. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I guess all baked blushes are shimmery. I really love the look of it and the glow it adds to your skin.
The very best thing about this blush is that it’s pretty pigmented. The color looks slightly less pink on the picture than it actually is. In fact it’s a little bit more rosy. The first time I applied it I was kind of shocked by the amount of color on my cheeks. I didn’t know it was this pigmented. I definitely learned to apply this one a little bit more light handed than I usually would and to not go back into the blush to add more color. Another thing I like about this blush is that it’s a very soft and creamy texture. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like a cream blush, it’s just very soft.
The staying power is also very impressive. This blush will stay on my cheeks pretty much all day. Obviously it doesn’t stay if you rub your cheeks a lot or if your really sweaty, but it does survive a normal day.
Well, I think it’s clear I’m in love. This blush is just absolutely gorgeous. I think Maxfactor did an amazing job creating these blushes. They are pretty creamy, they are highly pigmented and they last. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous as well.
The Maxfactor Cream Puff Blush is available at drugstores for €12,99.
I hope you enjoyed reading today’s review, and let me know which blush is your favorite!
