NYX Love In Paris Eyeshadow Palette

A while ago I won this NYX eyeshadow palette along with some other great NYX product. After testing them for a while, it’s time to start reviewing. Today I’ll be reviewing the NYX Love in Paris eyeshadow palette. If you’re interested, click that keep on reading button!

 

First things first, let’s take a closer look at the packaging. One of the first things that stood out to me was that this palette has this little bow on the side. I’m a sucker for things like that, it’s just so adorable! I think that boosts the cuteness level from zero to 8 in a split second.

Besides that the front looks very cute too. It is black with a little window in the middle through which you can see the eyeshadows. The over all look is just really pretty and cute.

 

I got the palette in the shade “Merci Beaucoop” which is filled with 9 very pretty warm toned eyeshadows. I love warmer eyeshadows, especially cranberry colors like the one on the left hand corner. It’s really pretty!

I also love that not all shadows are shimmery. I personally love shimmery eyeshadows, but I do think that every good palette at least needs to have one matte medium brown and one matte highlighter. This palette has both of them, so that’s a real plus!

I’m sorry about the goose bumps, I was cold okay.

As you can tell the swatches are pretty impressive. The lighter shades didn’t really show up just because I’m pretty pale myself, but they are actually very pigmented. I am very impressed and surprised by the quality. I’ve never used any NYX eyeshadow before so I didn’t really know what to expect.

On the eyes the colors look very vibrant and pigmented too. The only thing I slightly dislike about it is that there is only one real eyelid color. I wish there was at least one more color like a champagne or a lighter gold. That would have been great.

All together I do have to say I’m surprised by this palette, in a positive way. I really enjoy using it and I love the colors that are in there. Besides that all shades are very pigmented and look great on the eye as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that loves warm neutral eyeshadows!
