Current Daily Makeup Routine

A long time ago I did a daily makeup routine post, but since I’ve learned a lot and started using lots of new products since then I decided to do an updated one. So today I’ll be sharing with you the products I use on a daily basis. If you’re interested, keep on reading!

I always start off my makeup routine with a primer. The one I’m currently using is the Catrice Prime and Fine Anti-Red base. I know it might seem weird I’m using it since I included it in my disappointing products article, and no I still don’t like it. I’m just using it because I feel like it’s a waste to just throw it away. I just want to finish it.

After that I always use my Catrice Camouflage Cream. I am actually in favour of applying concealer on top of your foundation, but because this one would look crap on top of it because of its thickness I use it underneath it. After I applied that I go ahead and put the Maxfactor CC Cream all over my face. I’ve been loving this for about a year now, and I will probably love it forever. It’s basically the perfect everyday foundation.

Then I like to apply a little bit of liquid concealer. I have pretty bad dark circles, so the camouflage cream is not enough. It depends on the day which one I’ll be using. Because the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is not available here and I don’t have another back up I only use it when I really need it. On days I don’t I like using the P2 Mattifying Perfection concealer.

Then I powder my face to set everything. I ran out of my old loose powder and found out it wasn’t available any more. I really hate that they don’t sell it any more because I just can’t seem to find anything else as amazing as that one. Currently I’m using a combination between the Etos Finishing Powder and the Hema Finishing Translucent Powder. They are not as amazing as the Essence Translucent Powder but it’s fine for now.

When I finish powdering my face I go ahead and fill in my brows. For that I use both a pencil and a powder. I start off with the Hema Eyebrow Pencil and outline my brows with it. Because I feel like the pencil on it’s own looks really horrible and overdone I like to put a little powder on top of it. This way it does actually look way more natural and even. The brow powder I use is the Catrice Eyebrow Kit. This is actually my third packaging!

To set my brows I use the Gosh Defining Brow Gel. I really love this stuff because it’s tinted and it doesn’t make my brows feel crunchy. Besides that it also keeps my brows in place all day.

When the brows are finished I go onto my favorite part of my entire routine: eyeshadow. Before I apply any eyeshadow I always use an eyeshadow primer. I’m currently using the E.L.F. Eyelid Primer in the shade Pearl. I actually have three backups because this stuff is the bomb. You should try it!

Then I’ll start applying the foundation. I use different eyeshadows every single day, but the one I do use everyday is the P2 Forever Intense Eye Shadow Cream. This intensifies any eyeshadow I put on top of it and it makes them last all day. I’m currently in love with the Makeup Revolution Death By Chocolate palette. I’ve been using it all week, which is something I honestly never do. I really recommend the Makeup Revolution eyeshadows! They are super pigmented and very affordable.

After I finished applying eyeshadow I’ll curl my lashes with my Forever21 eyelash curler and apply some mascara. Currently I’ve been loving the Maxfactor Masterpiece Transform mascara in black/brown. I love the way this mascara separates my lashes and adds length and volume at the same time.

The second last step of my makeup routine is applying bronzer, blush and highlighter. I use different highlighters and blushes almost every single day, but these ones I use most frequently. The Hema bronzer I do use almost every single day. I love how this one fits my skin tone and isn’t as pigmented. I can’t go wrong with it.

My current favorite blush is the Maxfactor Crème Puff blush which I reviewed a little while ago and when it comes to highlighter I love my MAC MSF in Blonde.

The very last step in my makeup routine is lipstick/balm/gloss. Again, I use different ones every single day, but these are my current favorites. When I want a lipstick I usually go for the P2 Sheer Glam lipstick. When I feel like I want a lip product that takes care of my lips while adding color I usually go for the Maxfactor Lipstick Balm.
