Empties #3

Well hello guys. Today it’s time for my third ever empties article. Ever since I started blogging I have way more motivation to actually use products up instead of opening up a new bottle and not finishing the old one. Today I am going to be showing you guys the products I have used up in the past couple of months. If you’re interested, keep on reading!

The very first empty product today is the Maxfactor CC cream. This was my second tube already and I started a third one. I think it’s pretty obvious I really love this stuff. It has medium to high coverage, it feels light on the skin, the color actually matches my skin tone, it’s somewhat mattifying and it has SPF 10 in it. I don’t know what else I would want in a foundation. To me this one is perfect!

Another makeup item I used up is the P2 Forever Intense cream shadow. I have used this product every single day for the past half year to a year. And since I do have a backup I’m sure I’ll continue doing that.

The next product I used up is my beloved The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser. When I got it I didn’t really know what to do with it and how to use it, but now I can’t live without it. I tried, but failed. I had to buy a new one.

I also finished the Hidro Fugal deodorant. I don’t really know what to think about it. I honestly just bought this one because it was on sale back when I got it. I do actually really like it, but I can’t find it in stores any more so I replaced it with another brand. I do remember that it was relatively expensive for a deodorant. It’s a great deodorant, but I do think it’s a little over priced.

Next are two skin care products. The first one is my very favorite skin care product of all times, the Bioderma Micellair water. I bought two of them when I was in Paris, so luckily I do have a back-up, but I dread the day I run out of this stuff. I know that there are many other miccelair waters on the market right now, but to me, none of them are as amazing as this one.

The other product is the Dr. Van der Hoog Purity Cleansing lotion. I have had this for such a long time but never really finished it. I honestly love this stuff. It smells really good and it does actually work. I also feel like it’s great for oily skin, which I have. I would definitely buy this again.

But that wasn’t it for the skin care products. I also finished the Nivea Clean Deeper cleansing scrub. I feel like I finish this stuff every time I do an empties article. I really like this stuff and I’ve used many bottles of it, but I didn’t repurchase it this time. I feel like there’s not a lot of product in there and that I run out of it way too quick. I decided to buy a cheaper alternative this time which will hopefully last longer.

Then I have the The Body Shop Vitamine E Face Mist. I used to love face mists a lot. It makes your makeup look way more natural. The thing is, this one is way too greasy for my skin. Instead of fixating my makeup, it makes me oily as crap. Nope, even though it’s not a bad product I wouldn’t buy this again.

Lastly I finished my favorite shampoo. This is the second time I did so and I again repurchased it. This is the Herbal Essences Clearly Naked shampoo. Even though it’s a little harsh I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect shampoo for greasy hair! Love it!
