As I mentioned a gazillion times before I received a surprise package from Ziaja a while ago. One of the products in there was the Ziaja Phyto Aktiv Regenerating Night Cream, which is the product I am going to be reviewing today. If you’re interested, keep on reading!
The Ziaja Phyto Aktiv Regenerating Night Cream comes in this super adorable white and pink jar. I absolutely love the color combination. The font they used to write the name of the product is also super pretty, and the little leave besides Aktiv really finishes it off. I love the overall look of the little jar. If I would look at this product without know what it was I would think that this is a very gentle moisturiser with great ingredients.
On the back of the jar it gives us some more information about the product itself. It says:
“Prevents the appearance of new dilated capillaries and effectively reduces their propensity to break. Delays formation of wrinkles. DIRECTIONS: Apply a small amount of cream and smooth it over with a delicate patting motion.”
That sounds promising, doesn’t it. Wanting to reduce your dilated capillaries is not a really common thing to look for in your night moisturiser in my opinion, but it’s nice that it does that. Delaying the formation of wrinkles on the other hand is something most of us want. Even though I’m only 17 and I don’t really need it yet, I slightly hope it works.
The moisturiser has a pretty special texture in my opinion. It’s a combination of a gel based moisturiser and a nice cream. I really like the way it feels on my skin. It feels very refreshing and it’s easy to blend in into the skin. The moisturiser does take quite a while to sink in into the skin, but because it’s a night time moisturiser, I don’t really mind. After it has sunk into my skin it leaves my skin looking pretty glowy but healthy. Even though I’m not at all looking for a glow in my moisturiser, I do like the way it looks.
The cream itself smells pretty unique. I can’t really tell whether I love it or not. On one hand I really like the gentle subtle smell, but on the other hand it smells a little funny. But luckily the smell is very subtle, so you won’t smell it for that long after applying the moisturiser to your face.
But the most important question, does it work? Well, I’m not sure. The reason why I’m not sure is that I don’t even know if I have dilated capillaries, so I can’t really tell if they are gone by now. But the thing I do know is that this moisturiser does a great job when it comes to moisturising my skin and keeping it hydrated and fresh. I like that a lot.
Over all I’m pretty positive about this moisturiser. It keeps my face feeling fresh and hydrated and it adds a healthy glow. It’s also easy to blend because of its awesome texture. I think this is a pretty good moisturiser for every skin type.
The Ziaja Phyto Aktiv Regenerating Night Cream is available at the Ziaja webshop and stores for €5,99.

Lijkt me heel fijn! Een goede nachtcrème vind ik zo lastig. Ik haat het om van die dikke, plakkerige zooi op mijn gezicht te smeren…
