New CID Cosmetics 3-in-1 Lip Wand

Lately I’ve been all about the lip products. I’m even starting to get into more bolder colors. The thing with bolder colors is, is that it’s essential to use a lip liner at first. The problem with that is that it can be pretty hard to find one in a matching color. Therefore I like using products like the New CID Cosmetics 3-in-1 Lip Wand. The New CID Cosmetics 3-in-1 Lip Wand comes in a long tube like this. It’s a long silver and shiny tube that consists out of three parts; the lip liner, lip stick and lip gloss. This way you can create the perfect bold lip look with in one go. This way you won’t have to look for a lip liner or gloss in the exact same color, ’cause it’s all in there. I really like that about it.

I also love the look of the packaging. I think it looks pretty classy and not cheap at all. I like that the lipgloss part is see through so you can tell which color you’re dealing with and how much you have left of it.

When you take the entire thing apart you will be left with these three parts. I think it’s pretty obvious that the lip liner part is slightly darker than the lipstick and gloss. I think that’s pretty weird. Instead of getting three products in the exact same color, you get two products in the same color and a lip liner in a different color. Even though it’s a nice product and it does work if you apply it all over your lips and not just the outline, I’m not that happy with it.

The color of the lipstick is in fact really pretty. It’s a gorgeous bright pink, perfect for the summer. The only difference between the lipstick and the gloss is that the gloss contains shimmer. So if you don’t feel like any shimmer, skip the gloss, but if you do want to add some sparkle, it’s all yours.

All three products have amazing pigmentation. Besides the pigmentation the texture is also out of this world amazing. I really love how smooth all three products apply. I feel like some lip pencils tend to be slightly drying and hard to apply, while this one is really nice and buttery and glides along the lips. The same thing counts for the lipstick. It’s super easy to apply, even for people that aren’t that good at applying bright lip colors like me.

On the first lip swatch I applied all three products right from the tube. The color looks super creamy and intense and is also very even. On the second swatch I made it a little less intense by putting a little tissue paper against my lips, which left me with really pretty but wearable pink lips. I have pretty dead looking lips naturally, so if I want them to look alive, but don’t want a bright color, I can apply it like this. I really like both ways of applying it.

Over all I think the New CID Cosmetics 3-in-1 Lip Wand is a great product. I love the color and I absolutely love the texture of all three products. The only downside is that the color of the lip liner is slightly different compared to the other two products, but it’s definitely worth your money!
