Maybelline One By One Mascara

I told you guys many times before, but I love Maybelline mascara’s. I’ve used quite a big part of their mascara collection and today it’s time for the One By One mascara. I did try this one before, but I guess I never reviewed it for you guys. Today I will actually, so if you’re interested, keep on reading!

The Maybelline One By One Waterproof mascara comes in a red cone shaped tube with blue letters printed on it. I really like how bright and colorful it looks. It gives me a positive vibe, which I honestly do kind of need in the morning when I do my makeup haha.

The One By One mascara isn’t really new to the collection, but it’s still one of the best ones in my opinion. As I mentioned before I’ve used lots of different ones from Maybelline, but this is one of the only ones I actually bought more than once, so that does mean something.

The thing that makes this One By One mascara so special is that it really separates the lashes because of the brush. The brush is round and has a very specific look. I really like that the hairs aren’t hairy but more like plastic (I suppose). I think that that makes sure your lashes will be separated.

For me personally it’s really important that mascara’s stay in place because most don’t. Even waterproof mascara’s will smudge on me, which is something I think nobody really likes. Therefore I chose to buy the waterproof version. But is it really waterproof? Well, it doesn’t smudge, but the effect will lose it’s intensity throughout the day.

The effect on my lashes isn’t super dramatic. I do actually prefer my lashes to look a little more dramatic than this, but this is the best the One by One mascara can do. You might wonder why on earth I would buy it again multiple times if the effect isn’t really amazing. Well that is because I do love the separation. As you can tell my lashes are nicely separated and they are nicely curled.

So, if you would ask me if this is my favorite mascara, I would say no, but it is a good one. If you love nice, natural and separated lashes, this mascara is definitely what you’re looking for. If you want some more drama, you might want to try another one.
