Yves Rocher Radiant Lip Crayon

Not too long ago Yves Rocher launched a new range of lip products, the Radiant Lip Crayons. It’s smart of them to do so, since they are pretty popular at the moment. I personally love these kinds of lip products, so I had to order one. After testing it thoroughly, it’s now time for a review! If you’re interested, keep on reading!

The Yves Rocher lip crayon looks like a big fat pencil and comes in a plastic tube. The tube represents the color of the pencil. The color I have is called “Rose Sorbet”, which is a very pretty bright pink color. To me it’s the perfect spring color.

I really like that the packaging is in the same color as the product. The color is so bright and happy, which makes the packaging look even more fun too. Another nice thing about the packaging is that the pencil is twistable, there is no need to sharpen it whatsoever.

The thing I love about lip pencils/crayons like this is that they tend to be pretty glossy and moisturising. This is is too. The texture is really nice. It was super easy to apply and it didn’t feel dry on the lips at all. Besides that the color is also very intense. Most lip crayons like this are pretty sheer, which I love, but this one is not. I kind of expected it to be sheer, so I was kind of shocked when I realised it wasn’t, but happy at the same time.

The staying power is amazing as well. This baby will last about 3 to 4 hours of intense talking and shopping, which is pretty impressive. If you’re silent or if you talk a normal amount it might even last longer. I think that is a very, very big plus!

As you can tell the pencil has a really nice texture. It’s not as creamy as most pencils, but that is not a bad thing. Even though it’s not super creamy and/or glossy, it’s still a very comfortable product to wear on the lips. I’m not a huge fan of heavy feeling or super sticky lip products and luckily this product isn’t like that at all. It feels just like you’re wearing a lipbalm!

Overall I could say I’m a pretty big fan of this Yves Rocher Lip Crayon. It’s pigmented, it stays in place, the texture is nice and it doesn’t feel annoying on the lips at all. This is definitely an amazing summer proof product! I love it!
