Only a few days ago I wrote an article about my top 3 shower gels. Today it’s time for the foundation version of that, but because I have more than 3 foundations I just really want to let you guys know about, I decided to turn it into a top 5. If you’re interested in finding out which foundations are in my top 5 and why, keep on reading!
Unlike I did with the shower gels, I’m not going to put these in order, just because they are all amazing in a different way and it’s just impossible for me to do.
My first favorite foundation is one I have used for years. It’s the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. This was the first foundation I ever used and I think that I finishes about 5 bottles of it. I have tried both the normal version as well as the serum version and the one of the picture is the renewed normal version. They are all amazing. I love the healthy glow it adds to my skin and the scent. It’s not the best mattifying foundation, but it does make your skin look perfect!
Another one I love is the L’Oreal True Match foundation. I love this one first off all because it’s light enough for my skin tone and because of the texture. It’s a very thin and fluidy foundation and it feels super, super light on the skin. But, even though it’s really thin and light the coverage is still amazing. This makes my skin look flawless!
Next up is my holy grail foundation, or actually CC cream. It’s the Maxfactor CC cream. I just love this stuff. I bought it when it was pretty new because of all the amazing reviews and I’ve never regretted it. This is already my third tube. The coverage is amazing, it’s mattifying, it smells really really good and it’s light enough for me. So overall it’s just everything I want in a foundation. I highly, highly recommend this one!
Then we have the Mácely BB cream. The first thing I love about it is the adorable packaging. Besides that the texture is also very nice and it looks really pretty on the skin. It’s not mattifying, it’s also not dewy, it just gives your face a normal healthy glow, but not in a super dewy way. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but I don’t know how else to describe it. The only downside is that it’s only available in one shade which is really light, light enough for me, but if you’re not super pale you probably won’t be able to use it.
The last one is by P2. It’s the Ultra Matte 24 Hours foundation. I absolutely love P2, it’s my favorite brand in the world and this foundation was definitely a hit. The first reason why I love it is because it’s waterproof. It actually is. I was super amazed by that. It also has great coverage and it keeps my skin pretty matte. Because I’m pretty oily I will eventually shine through it, but it’s the best mattifying foundation I’ve ever used. I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with oily skin!
And that was it. I hope you liked reading today’s article and let me know which foundations you love!
