Today it’s time for another monthly favorites article. The past month has been pretty busy and hectic, but makeup wise it was a great month. Because I graduated from high school I decided to treat myself with some new products, and I discovered lots of other pretty products. If you’re interested to see my favorites, keep on reading!
Let’s start of with my first discovery of the month, the Le Petit Marseilias shower gels. I came across them while I was looking for the new Treacle Moon shower gels in the grocery store. I decided to take these two with me instead, because they looked interesting to me and they smelled really nice. I’m really glad I did. Currently my favorite out of the two is the Peach & Nectarine scent because it’s really nice and fresh which is perfect for this time of year. The Cotton milk & Poppy scent is also very nice, but it’s a little more appropriate for colder days.
When it comes to the way they work they are nice as well. These two shower gels aren’t the best ones in my collection, but they’re not the worst either. The scent isn’t super strong and it won’t really be there any more when you leave the shower, but that’s fine by me. I like them anyway.
Next up is my lipstick favorite of the month of June, the Bourjois Shine Edition lipstick. I don’t know why I didn’t buy it years ago, because it’s the perfect lipstick match for me. It’s sheer and glossy but still pigmented and it feels like a lipbalm on the lips. Besides that the color is also really pretty and the staying power is quite impressive for a glossy sheer lipstick like this one. I really want some other colors from this range. It’s amazing!
Next up is the Rosebud Salve in Minted Rose. I’ve had this for such a long time, ever since they were available in the Netherlands, but when I went to the drugstore about a week ago I saw that it was on sale for only €2,50 (when I bought my first one I paid €11/€12 for it) and I had to buy it. Ever since than I can’t stop using it any more. I honestly think that the Rosebud Salve lipbalms are the best!
Next up are two Catrice eyeshadows which I bought at a drugstore outlet. The first duo is from an old limited edition. I can’t even remember it being available in stores, but I’m really glad I got my hands on it. I think the quality is amazing and the colors are really pretty. I especially love the darker color, I love the purple undertone in it.
The other one I have is one of Catrice’s baked eyeshadows. I bought this one at that outlet as well, and I’m not sure if it’s even available any more, but I don’t think it is. It’s a very pretty taupe color and it’s really pigmented. I wish they were still available ’cause I’m really impressed while I normally dislike Catrice eyeshadows.
My last favorite is my favorite favorite if that makes any sense at all. It’s the Stila Eyes Are The Window palette in Soul. I bought this as a gift for myself (how nice of me) and I have no regrets. It’s the most precious palette I’ve ever seen and I’m extremely happy I have it in my collection now. The packaging is so luxurious and pretty and the shadows are just perfect for me. I love love love it!
That was it for this month. I hope you enjoyed reading it, and let me know which products you’ve been liking throughout the month!
I’ve heard so many good things about the smiths lip balms but I’ve NEVER seen it anywhere to buy it.
