P2 Beauty Goes Safari Duo Blush

One of my favorite budget brands in the world is P2. I have loved every product of them that I have tried and I’m always excited to try new products from that brand. Recently, when I went to Germany, I saw that P2 had a limited edition. All products looked really good to me, but I decided to just go with the blush. Today I’m going to be reviewing it. If you’re interested, keep on reading!

The best thing about limited editions in general is that the packagings are always amazing. They’re always just that little bit extra special and extra pretty. When it comes to this particular blush, the fact that LE packagings are always better is true too. The packaging is a lot bigger than P2’s normal blushes and the edges are gold. The middle part is clear and the letters are gold too. The back of the packaging is orange. I really like that combination. Besides that I also think that P2 rocked the font they used to write the name of the product. The theme of the limited edition collection is definitely clear, which is obviously a good thing.

Besides the special packaging, the product itself is extra special too. First off all; the blush consists out of two different parts. There were two different versions available, this one and a lighter version. This one contains a really pretty dark plum color and a gorgeous darker pink. I think the color combination is really pretty.

Another thing I love about this blush is the pattern on the blush itself. The shimmer looks really pretty and the slightly darker stripes create a really pretty silky looking finish. This finish is also visible when you apply it on your cheeks, which is something I love about this blush.

I also think that P2 did a really good job creating these particular colors, because they are not only pretty on lighter skin tones, but they will also look gorgeous on darker skinned girls. I think that’s a very important feature, since most budget brands don’t have any products in their collections that could look good on darker skinned girls, which I think is a shame.

When it comes to pigmentation I’m really positive. I expected this blush to be extremely over pigmented, but in fact I think the pigmentation is perfect. It’s not too much, but it’s also not invisible. It adds that extra bit of color and shine to the face, but it doesn’t make you look like a clown. That might sound obvious, but it’s definitely not always that way.

The staying power is also impressive. I honestly have never used a blush that stayed on my skin as long as this one did. I used it on a pretty busy day. It started off with 2 hours of driving lessons really early in the morning, followed by a very productive afternoon full of taking pictures, washing my brushes and other blog related things. Then I had to go to the dentist and to finish it off I went to the city to eat dinner. When I got home it was actually still on my cheeks. I applied it at 7 AM in the morning, and at 10 PM in the evening it was still there. You can’t tell me that’s not impressive.

So over all I’m really impressed by this blush. It stays on all day, the colors are really pretty and I’m just in love with the packaging. It’s a little bit difficult to get your hands on if you don’t live near a DM. But if you get the chance, I highly recommend giving this blush a try!

The P2 Beauty Goes Safari Duo Blush is available at DM for €3,75.

That was it for today. I hope you liked today’s review and let me know if you’ve tried any products from this limited edition collection!
