L’Oreal Glam Bronze Sculpting Powder

Last weekend when I went to the mall with my mom I came across this L’Oreal sculpting powder. For the longest time I’ve been using the Hema Bronzer, and I felt like it was finally time for me to start using another product. This one was on sale and was light enough for my skin so I decided to take it with me. Today I’m going to be reviewing this beauty for you guys. If you’re interested, keep on reading!

The L’Oreal Glam Bronze Sculpting Powder comes in a square shaped packaging with rounded edges. The color of the packaging represents the Glam Bronze range by L’Oreal. The packaging itself is pretty thick, but when I opened it up for the first time, I found out why. When you lift the lid you’ll find the sculpting powder,but if you lift the powder, you’ll find another compartment. In that little compartment you’ll find a little brush as well as quite a big mirror.

Even though I probably won’t be using the brush, nor the mirror I still like that it’s in there. It makes this product suitable for travelling and such. Besides that it’s always nice to have a mirror with you. You never know when you need it.

The thing I love about this sculpting powder is that it’s not insanely dark. Lot’s of sculpting powders (or bronzers) are way too dark for me. This one comes in a few different shades. I got the shade 01 Golden Sun. It’s the perfect color for pale girls like myself. The powder is completely matte and isn’t super orange, but also not really grey. It’s basically the perfect sculpting powder color for me and I love that about it!

The reason why I’ve been using the same bronzer for such a long time is because I’m always scared other ones will be too pigmented, too orange or too obvious. I was scared this one would be like that too, but in fact this one looks really natural on my skin. It does add that extra bit of definition and shape to my face, but it isn’t unnatural or obvious.

The pigmentation of this powder is perfect. I prefer bronzers that aren’t super pigmented, since you can go really wrong if they are pigmented. Because it’s not extremely pigmented, the chances of you ending up with two very obvious brown stripes of on your face will be pretty small. But I’m also glad it’s not super unpigmented. I felt like the Hema one had just a little bit too less pigmentation and because of that you needed to apply a few layers of it. With the L’Oreal Glam Bronze powder that’s not the case!

When it comes to staying power I’m definitely not unhappy. I don’t expect my sculpting powders to stay on all day since they’re powders and powders just don’t stay on your face that long. Besides that I touch my face a lot, so it would be unfair to blame the product for not lasting all day. But this sculpting powder does last quite some time. At the end of the day there is still a bit of definition left. Not as much as when you just applied it, but it’s not completely gone.

Over all I think the L’Oreal Glam Bronze Sculpting Powder is a great product. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I really love it now. I love that the color is perfect for my skin tone and that it’s not too orange. Besides that I think it’s amazing that it stays pretty much all day and that it’s not too pigmented. I’m really, really happy I got my hands on this powder and I’m sure it will become one of my favorites!
