After waiting one and a half year, it was finally time to go to London. One and a half year ago I convinced my mother to take me to London after I graduated. Last month I graduated and therefore we went to London. I have been saving up money the past year for this trip so I could buy whatever I wanted and I definitely did. If you’re interested in finding out what I bought, keep on reading!
Disclaimer: I know it’s not normal to buy this much makeup, but I love makeup a lot and I have been saving up for such a long time that I decided I could buy all the items that I have bought.
I’m going to do this brand by brand because I figured that would be the easiest way to do this. The first brand is Barry M. Barry M is mainly popular because of their awesome nail polishes. I didn’t own any of them yet, which is why I decided to buy three. The first color is a very pretty medium bright royal blue color, the second one is an super bright green color and the third one is a very unique pinky purple color. All three of them are from the Gelly range.
Besides buying Barry M nail polishes I also bought one of the Barry M lip crayon thingies. It looked really pretty and the texture felt really nice so I decided to just go for it.
The Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint’s cost £3,99 each
The Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Lips costs £4,99
The next brand is Bourjois. Bourjois is one of those brands that I do really like but I don’t really have a lot from them. Because there was a 3 for 2 sale going on and because the Healhty Mix Serum foundation was available there I decided to buy three of their products. The first one is one of the Bourjois Shine Edition lipsticks. I already have one of these and I’m in love with it, so therefore I decided I wanted to buy another one.
I also bought one of the 3D lipglosses by Bourjois. I haven’t bought a lipgloss in ages and I absolutely love this color so I decided to buy it. The last product is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation. The Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation is the first foundation I ever used and this serum version has always been my favorite out of the three. In the Netherlands they don’t have it and when they do they don’t sell my shade, so when I saw it at Superdrug I had to buy it.
The Bourjois Shine Edition Lipstick costs £7,99
The Bourjois 3D Lipgloss costs £7,99
The Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation costs £10,99
Next up is Collection. Collection is one of my favorite brands because of their awesome Lasting Perfection concealer. I have already used up one of them and I’m halfway the second one so I decided to buy four backups. I know that seems extreme, but since you can’t get it here and I’m not sure when I’ll get the chance to buy new ones I decided to just go for it and buy four of them.
Besides that I also bought their Sheer Loose Powder, their eyeshadow palette which looks really pretty and a 2 in 1 top and base coat and lastly a nail polish. I’m really excited to try everything out!
The Collection Lasting Perfection concealer costs £4,19
The Collection Sheer Loose Powder costs £2,99
The Collection Eyes Uncovered eyeshadow palette costs £2,99
The Collection 2 in 1 Top & Base Coat costs £2,99

The next brand is going to be I Heart Makeup. I’ve always wanted to try some of their products so I was really happy when I finally found it at Superdrug. The product I was most excited about was the Blush heart, so I bought it in two different colors and I bought the highlighter version. I absolutely love the look of them. Blush wise I also bought one of their normal blushes which looks really pretty too.
Besides that I also had to buy one of their eyeshadow palettes. Sadly they didn’t have the white chocolate bar one which I really wanted, but they did have the #Selfie palette which is really pretty too. And lastly I bought the No Shine Please Totally Matte Foundation.

The I Heart Makeup I want Candy! Blush costs £2,99
The I Heart Makeup #Selfie palette costs £4,99

Onto Kiko. I only bought two Kiko products because it was just insanely crowded in the Kiko store and I really wanted to leave. The two things I did in fact buy are a Blush from the Tri-Bal Soul collection and one of their nail polishes in a really pretty bright mint color.
I also bought two NYC products. The first one is the NYC bronzer. I’ve heard so much about it that I just had to buy it and try it. Besides that I also bought one of their lipsticks that looked actually really pretty to me. I’m super excited to try both of them out!

The Kiko Nail Polish costs £2,50
The NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer costs £1,99
The NYC Lip Color costs £1,99
Next up is L’Oreal. A while ago L’Oreal launched their Infallible Matte foundation. I read a lot of positive reviews on it and since I struggle with oily skin I really wanted to try it. The only problem was that the lightest shade in the Netherlands wasn’t light enough. Luckily the UK does have a lighter shade and that one does actually match my skin tone. I started off with buying one tube but after wearing it once and finding out it’s amazing I decided to buy a second one as backup. Besides that I also bought the primer from the same range.
Another quite recently launched L’Oreal product (at least in the Netherlands it’s new) is their eyeshadow palette. I’ve read mixed reviews on it but when I swatched it I was sure, I had to buy it.
And lastly for L’Oreal I bought one of their lipsticks. There was another 3 for 2 sale going on and I had to choose one more product which ended up being this one.

Next is Maybelline. I really needed a new waterproof mascara since mine was almost done, so I decided to buy the Maybelline Go Extreme Waterproof Mascara. I’ve used the normal version before and I loved that one, so I’m pretty sure I’m going to like this one as well.
Another product I really wanted to buy was the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and One Bronze. I ran out of mine and I never really repurchased it so when I saw it in Boots I decided to buy it. Along with that I also bought the Baby Skin primer and the Brow Satin brow pencil.
The Maybelline Go Extreme! Mascara costs £6,99
The Maybelline Color Tattoo costs £4,99
The Maybelline Baby Skin Primer costs £7,99
The Maybelline Brow Satin costs £5,99
MUA is one of my favorite budget proof brands and is in fact available in the Netherlands, the collection is not as big as in the UK so I decided to just buy everything I ever wanted from it there. The first product I bought is the Matte Perfect Foundation. I actually wanted the one in the black tube but they either discontinued that or this is the new packaging, but either way I bought this one. I also bought the Matte Perfect Loose Powder since I really love loose powders.
Besides that I also bought two of the MUA Undress Your Skin highlighters. I really love the way they look and they are actually slightly cheaper in the UK so therefore I decided to just buy two of them.
The MUA Matte Perfect Foundation costs £2,00
The MUA Matte Perfect Loose Powder costs £2,50
The MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighters cost £3,00 each
But that wasn’t it yet for MUA. I apparently also bought the Power Pout Glaze. I can’t actually remember buying that, but well it’s a pretty product so it’s no big deal. I also bought the lipstick in Tulip which I have been wanting for ages.
Next up is the MUA Gel Eyeliner. I really like gel eyeliners, they are basically the only eyeliners I’m capable of working with and since the two gel liners I have are pretty much completely dried out I decided I wanted a new one. Followed by the Spring Break palette, the Hall Of Fame Palette and lastly the Romantic Efflorescence palette.
The MUA Elysium palette costs £6,00

The Simple Light Moisturiser costs £2,00
The Simple Cleansing Wipes cost £1,45
Next up is a brush set by Real Techniques. I love their brushes and I really wanted some more so I decided to buy this set, mainly because of the shiny pink color and the fact that it’s a collector’s edition. Besides that I also bought a hair brush. This one is supposed to be a dupe from the Mason Pearson but it’s a lot less expensive so I decided to just give it a go and try it.
At Wilko I also bought the Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Dry Shampoo. I love this range from Herbal Essences and I am still looking for a dry shampoo that actually works for me so I decided to give this one a try.

The next product I bought is the No 7 Stay Perfect Shade and Define eyeshadow pencil. I saw this one on youtube and I fell in love. It’s absolutely gorgeous! We’re almost there! While shopping at Westfield my mom and I came across the Victoria’s Secret store. We went in and saw that all body mists/lotions/shower gels were 5 for £30 so we decided to buy five products. I bought three body lotions in the scents Such A Flirt, Secret Escape and Total Attraction and my mom bougth two body mists. They smell absolutely amazing!
The VS Body Lotions cost £13 (but because of the sale only £6 each)
