Gosh X-Ceptional Wear Foundation

Gosh X-Ceptional Wear Foundation Packaging

Throughout the years I have never really used a lot of Gosh products. I have tried an eyeshadow trio and an eyebrow gel, but that’s basically it. I always feel like their products are just not it. They miss that wow-factor. But there is one exception, the Gosh X-Ceptional Wear foundation. I read a review about it and it made me want to try it even more, so I did. Today I’ll be reviewing it. If you’re interested in finding out more about this foundation, keep on reading!

Gosh X-Ceptional Wear Foundation Tube

The Gosh X-Ceptional Wear foundation comes in a kind of odd shades black tube. Because the tube is black you have no idea how much product is still left inside and I don’t really like that about it. Besides that I’m pretty neutral when it comes to this packaging. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either. It’s just a simple packaging.

The thing that made me want to try this foundation the most is the shade it comes in. According to a review I read the lightest shade is supposed to be light enough for super pale people like me, that doesn’t happen too often. The lightest shade I could find is number 11 Porcelain. I have to say that I do agree with what I read. This foundation matches my skin really well, I like it!

On the bottle it says that this foundation is long lasting and light reflecting. On the back it says that it’s soft and creamy and that it has exceptional coverage. It should give the skin a matte and beautiful finish which lasts for many hours. It also says that the formula is perfume free. The perfume free part is definitely a plus since perfume is really bad for the skin. I also really like that it has a matte finish and that it’s supposed to stay in place for many hours.

But is it true? Is it actually matte, long lasting and creamy? I can be short about that, it is. It’s actually true. The texture of the foundation is really nice and it blends into the skin really, really nicely. I also love the finish. It’s matte but it doesn’t take away the natural glow everyone should have. And when it comes to the staying power all I can say is; I’m impressed. This stuff lasts all day on my skin, no matter what!

The coverage of the foundation is really nice. It says it’s exceptional, which is a little vague. I would say it’s medium to high coverage. It covers up all of my imperfections, if evens out my skin really nicely and it covers up the redness on my cheeks and the darkness underneath my eyes pretty well. I think coverage wise it’s one of the best foundation I’ve tried so far. It’s amazing!

Most high coverage foundations are pretty thick, and the thing I like about this foundation is that it’s not thick at all. It has the creaminess of the Rimmel Stay Matte foundation, but the thickness of the Maxfactor CC cream. I really like the way it feels. It’s a very comfortable foundation to wear.

I have to say that I ended up liking this foundation way better than I expected. It really impressed me. I love the texture of the foundation a lot and I really like the finish. Besides that I’m also in love with the way my skin looks after using it. It evens out my skin tone really nicely. I highly recommend this foundation!

The Gosh X-Ceptional Wear Foundation is available at the drugstore for £7,99/€10,99.

That was it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s review and let me know which foundation is your absolute favorite!
