Sleek has been one of my favourite brands for quite a while now. Their products are so professional and amazing and they are not expensive at all. A while ago I decided I wanted another one of their blushes and I bought one. Lately I’ve been really into berry/red coloured blushes, so I ended up buying the blush in the colour Flushed. Today it’s time for me to review it. If you’re interested in finding out more about it, keep on reading!
The blush comes in the same classic Sleek packaging as all other Sleek products do. They’re black, have the name of the brand printed on it in shiny black letters and on the inside you’ll find a big mirror which is the same size as the entire lid. The mirror is basically my favourite part when it comes to the Sleek packagings. It’s so convenient and I really like the size of them. Besides the convenience I also think it looks really pretty and it gives the packaging a more professional look.
As I mentioned before, lately I have been loving berry/red colours when it comes to blush. Colours like that actually look way better on people with a darker skin tone, but for some reason I just absolutely love it, even on my super pale skin colour.
At first I wasn’t sure whether I should get Flushed or Pomegranate, which is a pretty similar colour, but I ended up going for Flushed because it’s not as shimmery and I don’t have lots of matte blushes in my collection yet. Besides that I thought Flushed looked just a tad bit prettier. But I’m pretty sure than within now and a few months, Pomegranate will be added to my collection as well.
Flushed is just the most gorgeous, fall/winter-proof colour I have ever seen. It’s by far my favourite blush out of all the blushes I own. It’s red, but it also has a bit of purple to it and it makes you look like you just came from the cold, you know, with those healthy red cheeks.
The thing with Sleek blushes is, is that they are very pigmented. This could be a good or a bad thing, depending on what your preferences are. To me, this is the right amount of pigmentation. I usually apply it using my Real Techniques blush brush and when I do that, it usually ends up looking perfect. Not too extreme, but not too subtle either.
The most incredible thing about this blush is that it stays in place literally all day. I can apply this in the morning, live for an entire day and the blush will still be there in the end. I really, really like that about it and I feel like that’s actually very impressive.
I think it’s pretty clear that I love this blush. I am in love with the colour, I really like the packaging, I love the way it makes my cheeks look and I’m so, so, so impressed by its staying power. I feel like the Sleek blushes are the best blushes out there. I don’t think it get’s any better. They’re so high quality and so pretty, I highly recommend them!
The Sleek Blush in Flush is available at Sleekmakeup.com and at Superdrug for €5,99/£4,49.
That was it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s review and let me know which brand is your favourite when it comes to blushes!

Hele mooie kleur die voor mij wel ietsjes te gewaagd zou zijn 🙂

Wat een mooie blush maar het zou voor mijn huid echt veel te heftig zijn. Of ik moet het echt met een speciale kwast aanbrengen.
