L’Oreal Infallible 24H Ultra Concentrated Colour Eyeshadow

Ever since I bought my first Naked palette I have been all about the palettes. Before I used to use mono eyeshadows only, but that rapidly changed. Palettes are just so convenient. You get a selected amount of colours that look good together in one place, while when you’re using mono eyeshadows you have to  select the colours yourself and hope they look good together. Even though that costs way more effort, I still like doing it and therefore I decided to buy a new mono eyeshadow and give mono eyeshadows in general another try. I ended up buying a shade I have been wanting to buy for a long time by L’Oreal, and today I’ll be reviewing it. If you’re interested in finding out more about it, keep on reading!

The eyeshadow I bought is from the L’Oreal Infallible collection. This shadow is a little different from the usual pressed eyeshadows. It’s actually a pressed pigment kind of product. Because of that it comes in a slightly different packaging than I was used to. It’s a small jar and when you open it up you’ll find a round thingy that keeps the shadow pressed. I really like this concept for many, many reasons.

One of those reasons is that in general, loose pigments are way more pigmented that regular eyeshadows, but they are so super annoying to work with. Because this pigment is pressed you get the best of both worlds; you get amazing pigmentation and it’s super easy to use.

The colour I chose is called “Hourglass Beige”. Hourglass Beige is an amazingly gorgeous champagne colour. Champagne coloured eyeshadows are my absolute favourite and I use colours like this every single day. But, besides the amazingly gorgeous colour and the stunning shimmer, there is another even more amazing thing about this specific colour that makes me love this product even more. This eyeshadow is actually a dupe for my favourite eyeshadow in the whole wide world; Stila Kitten!

It didn’t occur to me at first, but when I was talking to my mother about how amazing Kitten was and I showed her the colour, I suddenly realised it. I rushed to my collection and opened up the jar to check if it was actually true, and it was. It’s absolutely amazing how similar and gorgeous both Kitten and Hourglass Beige are!

Besides the gorgeous colour and the fact that this is a dupe for Stila Kitten, there is more: the pigmentation. This shadow has a great amount of pigmentation, it’s amazing. I usually use cream shadows underneath my eyeshadow everyday, because if I don’t the colours just won’t show up. With this shadow that is not the case. I do like using a cream shadow underneath to make it even more intense, but it’s not a must.

The staying power is even more amazing. It’s just one of those shades you put on in the morning and you don’t have to worry about them all day, it just stays in place and doesn’t loose any of its intensity. It’s just amazing.

Over all I think I can conclude that this eyeshadow is amazing. It’s one of the best eyeshadows in my collection and I have been using it almost every single day for the fast 3 weeks now, and I’m pretty sure I’ll continue doing that. It’s just everything I look for in an eyeshadow. The colour is just gorgeous, the pigmentation is amazing, it’s easy to work with and you don’t have to worry about it once you apply it. It’s absolutely amazing!
