Crest 3D White Luxe Whitestrips Professional Effects

Ever since I was really little I wanted to bleach my teeth. I was born with pretty yellow teeth, and even though it did get kind of better throughout the years, I just hated it. I always hated the colour of my teeth and therefore one of my biggest wishes ever was to bleach them. I wanted it so bad, but because I was so young I just wasn’t allowed to do it yet. Besides that it would have been way too expensive and just not appropriate. Now that I’m 18 I decided it was time. Instead of going to a professional I decided to order the Crest Whitestrips and try those. After completing the entire 20 day treatment it’s time for me to review them. The Whitestrips come in a medium sized purple box that contains a paper with the directions and the strips. I decided to go for the Professional Effects treatment, since I figured that would be one of the best versions available. The main difference between the Professional Effects treatment and most of the others is that this one lasts 20 days and the others 14. The great thing about it is that it’s totally up to yourself how long you want to do it. You can stop after 2 days, after 10 days or you can skip a day. It’s totally up to you and you can therefore decide yourself how white you want your teeth to be.

I get that, those of you who aren’t familiar yet with the whole Crest Whitestrips thing, might think this is bad for your teeth or that it is harmful in general, but I can tell you, these Whitestrips are as safe as they can possibly be. There is nothing to worry about.

However, there is something you need to keep in mind if you’re considering using these Whitestrips. It is possible that your teeth will become sensitive during the treatment. I personally didn’t have problems with sensitive teeth before, but if you do, you might consider buying the version for sensitive teeth instead. After a few days I did notice that my teeth got a little bit more sensitive for cold things, but it’s not painful. It’s very minimal and after using special toothpaste for sensitive teeth the sensitivity is gone.

When it comes to the whole experience of applying the strips, keeping them in your mouth for half an hour, etc. I have to say it was way better than I expected. I expected it to taste very bad because I read about that on the internet, but I personally didn’t struggle with that. I also expected it to be very uncomfortable, but that wasn’t true either. These strips are very flexible and sit very comfortably in your mouth. While having them in your mouth you can do basically anything you want.

But now, onto the most exciting part, the results!

I think it’s very clear that these Whitestrips are very effective. The biggest change happened within the first 10 days of the treatment. The last 10 days didn’t really make that much of a difference. You need to take a very close look in order to see that. The main thing that changed during the last 10 days is that my teeth got a little brighter and more evened out, but it’s not very visible.

My very favourite thing about this treatment is that my teeth didn’t end up looking fake white. I don’t want my teeth to be as white as snow because that’s not natural. I don’t want it to look super bleached, I want them to look natural and I’m glad this treatment gave me that.

But over all, I’m super, super glad I finally bleached my teeth. I’m really impressed by the results and I like how natural it looks. It doesn’t look super bleached, but my teeth are a lot whiter. Besides that I think this is one of the easiest and most effective ways to do it, and it doesn’t take in much time. You can do it at any hour of the day and you can do whatever you want to do while you have the strips in your mouth.

However, I do think that the last 10 strips aren’t necessary. If you want to save money, I would recommend buying the 10 strip treatment instead. The biggest change occurs in the first 10 days and the difference with 20 strips is so little, you might not feel like that’s worth your money.
