While shopping in Germany I came across this very pretty nail polish. It’s from a limited edition collection from my favourite drugstore brand ever, P2. I absolutely loved the colour and because I don’t have much like it, I decided to take it with me. Today I’m going to review it and tell you guys every last thing about it. If you’re interested in finding out more about this gorgeous looking nail polish, keep on reading!
The nail polish comes in a kind of oval shaped glass bottle with a white top. On the front it says the name of the collection ‘all about berries’ in a really pretty font and on the back you’ll find the usual things like the name of the colour and some kind of information about the product and the brand and whatever. Something I never really care about. I over all really like the look of the packaging. It’s different from what I’m used to from P2 and even though it’s not super luxurious looking. I like t.
The colour I chose is absolutely gorgeous. It’s the perfect colour for this time of year in my opinion. It’s the most gorgeous dark red with a purple undertone. Even though I feel like I’m obsessed with colours like this one. I don’t really have many like it. It’s pretty much one of the only purply reds in my collection.
The main reason why I never really end up going for colours like this one, which is by the way called Cranberry Passion, is because for an unknown reason I never really like the look of it on my nails. I can’t get it to look very neat. I don’t know why this is, but when I use lighter or just brighter shades I do pretty much always manage to get it to look neat, especially around the cuticle area, but with darker colours like this one that area always looks a little messed up.
Sadly that did happen with this polish as well. But, I have to say, it’s not as bad as some other darker polishes I have worn before and it didn’t bother me as much as it usually does. I just really adored the colour, that was it.
The polish itself is like extremely opaque. It’s not necessary at all to use two coats. I did because I just like doing that, but if you don’t want to, don’t bother, it looks absolutely fine with one coat. As I expected, the colour turned out a bit darker on the nails than it looks in the bottle, and even though I would have loved it even more if it was the actual same colour as the colour in the bottle, I do like the look of it.
But, the very, very best thing about this nail polish. The thing that made me fall in love with this polish big time, is the fact that it dries extremely quickly. Like within 10 to 15 minutes. Okay, of course you should be careful, it won’t be completely bump proof within 10 to 15 minutes yet, but it’s pretty impressive. My phone actually fell like inside my bed (in between the mattress and the headboard) and because I’m an addict like that I needed to grab it, even though it could have ended up in me messing up my freshly polished nails, but nothing was even slightly messed up at all. It still looked absolutely perfect!
And lastly, the staying power. This polish is pretty long wearing for a budget proof drugstore polish. Of course you can’t compare it to for example the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polishes, but it’s not bad at all. After 3 days I got my first teeny tiny chip, which was completely my own fault, but aside from that it still looked pretty much perfect, there was no sign of tip wear, the polish cracking or looking a little worn off whatsoever.
So, all together, I think this nail polish is pretty amazing. The colour is absolutely gorgeous, it’s not extremely difficult to apply in a neat way and the drying time just really impressed me. Considering the fact that this polish was only €2,25 it’s just amazing. Love it!
The P2 All About Berries LE Nail Polish is available at DM for €2,25.
That was it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s review and let me know which colour you like wearing on your nails during this time of year!

Wauw! Haha.

De kleur is inderdaad prachtig! Echt een mooi kleurtje voor de herfst. Fijn dat de nagellak ook zo snel opdroog! Dat scheelt een hoop tijd. 🙂
