Hema Satin Blush Powder

I think that those of you who have been reading my blog for a while now know how much I love Hema. It’s one of my favourite stores in the entire universe and I have loved everything I have ever tried from them, from their bra’s to their skin care products, everything is just amazing. A while ago a friend of mine recommend the Hema Satin Blush Powder to me. She told me how amazing it was and how it stayed put all day. Because of that I really wanted to give it a try and that’s exactly what I did. Today it’s time for the review. If you’re interested in finding out more about it, keep on reading!

The Hema Satin Blush Powder comes in a pretty simple packaging. It doesn’t really have anything special to it to be honest. But even though it’s so simple, I do really like the look of it.  Besides the look the material itself feels pretty sturdy, which really helps with making it feel less cheap. I have to say that over all, I really like the look of this packaging. It’s simple, but sometimes simplicity can be more.

There are quite a lot of colours available in this Satin Blush Powder range. I personally am obsessed with darker red/ plum shades when it comes to blush, so I decided to go for colour number 7, which is this perfect reddish pink blush colour with a purply undertone. I love colours like this, they are so perfect for autumn and winter.

The thing with these Satin Powder Blushes is that they have this really nice and soft, almost satiny (surprise, surprise) texture to them. They feel so luxurious and silky, I have literally never touched at blush before that was as soft as this beauty over here. I think that that is very impressive for such a budget proof blush. May I remind you it’s only €4? You just can’t beat that.

Another thing that makes these blushes so special is that they last. A blush that lasts is in general pretty special, because blushes just somehow always disappear after wearing them for a few hours, but this one is even more special. It doesn’t lose its intensity and colour throughout the day, so when you apply this you can be sure that you will be wearing this all day and I love that about it!

Pigmentation wise this blush is INSANE. And with that I mean literally INSANE. This blush is super, super pigmented, so it’s definitely one you should be very careful with. Make sure, when you apply this blush, you’re using either a fan brush, a stippling brush or any type of brush with similar hairs to those two. If not you will end up looking like a clown.

Even though it can be a difficult one to work with because of its pigmentation, I am glad it is pigmented like that. This makes it a very quick to use product. You don’t have to go over your cheeks fifty times in order to get the right amount of colour. It takes only one swipe and you’re good to go.

Over all I’m really positive about this blush. I absolutely adore the colour, the texture is super nice and satiny, it’s pigmented and it stays on literally all day. I am so impressed by the fact that such an affordable blush can be so amazing. It definitely beats some of my higher end blushes. So if you ever find yourself at Hema or if you’re about to order something from their webshop, make sure you give this blush a try. It’s absolutely amazing!
