E.L.F. Mineral Lipstick in Rich Raspberry

Lipstick is one of my favourite makeup products ever. I love wearing it and I enjoy wearing a different colour everyday. Today I’m going to review a lipstick I have been wanting to try for years, the E.L.F. Mineral Lipstick in Rich Raspberry. If you’re interested in finding out more about it, keep on reading!

E.L.F. Mineral Lipstick Rich Raspberry

The E.L.F. Mineral Lipstick in Rich Raspberry comes in a very classic and professional looking black packaging. It’s square shaped and feels pretty sturdy and luxe. I like that even budget brands such as E.L.F. are capable of creating such good looking packagings. I feel like that makes such a lot of different between a cheap looking lipstick (or just makeup product in general) and a good looking but budget proof product.

There are a total of 6 different shades of lipsticks available from this Mineral range. There is something for pretty much everyone. There are neutral shades, pinks, reds and one orange shade. Some of the lipsticks have shimmer to them and some don’t, so there is literally something for everyone.

The colour I have is called Rich Raspberry. Rich Raspberry is a very pretty, surprise surprise, raspberry colour without any shimmer. It has a very pretty creamy finish and a nice feel to it. I personally really love raspberry coloured lipsticks, especially during autumn and winter, but to be honest, if I feel like it, I would definitely wear colours like that throughout the entire spring and summer time as well.

The thing I love so much about this colour is that it’s very wearable, but not basic. It’s not the typical pink nude shade, it’s raspberry. I do understand that some of you might not consider this a wearable shade, but for me it definitely is, and I really like that about it.

The thing I like so much about this lipstick quality wise is the texture. This lipstick is super buttery and creamy and applies very smoothly. However, it’s not too buttery and creamy. With that I mean it’s not like a thick, heavy butter like product. It’s not heavy on the lips at all actually. It’s one of those really comfortable products that even people who don’t like the feel of lip products on their lips might like wearing.

I also really like that this lipstick doesn’t accentuate the dry patches on my lips, which I do struggle with a lot at the moment. It actually covers them up really nicely.

Pigmentation wise this lipstick is amazing. You only need to go over your lips once in order to get full coverage out of this lipstick. Because of that it’s a really quick and easy product to use. You just sweep it all over your lips and you’re good to go. The greatest thing of all is that it’s super easy to apply so you don’t have to bother using a lip pencil or a lip brush to apply it with.

The lasting power is pretty amazing too. This lipstick stays in place for at least 3 to 4 hours, and depending on how much you eat and drink within that time it could last even longer. I think that’s very impressive for such an affordable and creamy lip product. Good job E.L.F.!

E.L.F. Mineral Lipstick in Rich Raspberry

Overall I think the E.L.F. Mineral Lipstick in Rich Raspberry is absolutely amazing. I really, really, really love the colour and the texture is incredible. It’s one of the most comfortable lipsticks I own. Aside from that I’m also very impressed with the quality. The pigmentation is great and the lipstick stays in place for quite a long time. If you’re looking for a new budget proof, comfortable yet pigmented lipstick, I recommend giving the E.L.F. Mineral Lipsticks a try!

The E.L.F. Mineral Lipstick in Rich Raspberry is available at eyeslipsface.nl for €5,-.

That was it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s review and let me know how you like the E.L.F. (Mineral) Lipsticks!
