Stila Sending My Love Gift Set

Stila is one of my favourite brands in the world. This Christmas they launched a gorgeous limited edition collection. After trying to resist buying it for a while I ended up buying it anyways. After waiting for 2 long weeks it finally arrived and after trying it out for a while it’s time for the review. The gift set comes in a really pretty fancy looking box that includes a total of four different products. The first item that comes in it is one of the Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in the shade Stringray, which is full size. Secondly we have one of the famous Stila Lip Glaze’s in the shade Guava, which by the way looks way better in real life than on the picture on the webshop! Next up is a gorgeous face palette that includes a gorgeous bronzer, a really pretty blush and the worlds prettiest highlighter. I’m so in love with that highlighter!

And lastly we have my favourite product out of the entire set: the eyeshadow palette. I’m just a huge eyeshadow junkie, so obviously the palette is the part I’m most excited about. This palette includes a total of 5 different eyeshadows that are perfect for creating an everyday look, but also for creating a more festive look.

Now we have discussed what is in the gift set, let’s talk about the products individually. Let’s start off with the Lip Glaze. In the past I have heard so many positive things about it. It’s one of the most popular lipglosses ever. The one that comes in this box is called Guava. Guava is a very pretty neutral pink shade. It’s pretty much the perfect everyday pink colour that goes with anything and that is appropriate for every situation ever.

Quality wise I’m really loving this Stila Lip Glaze. It has decent pigmentation and it stays in place forever. Normally lipglosses aren’t that long lasting, but this one stayed on my lips for at least 4 hours. After that it started to fade a little, but it was still there. I’m really impressed by that!

Next up is the Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner. I got it in the shade Stingray which is pretty much just a plain black shade. Personally I prefer brown eyeliners, but it never hurts to get another black one. I really enjoy using this one to tight line and darken up the lash line. It’s a great product for that.

The thing that I don’t like about eyeliners in general is that they tend to smudge really badly. But to be honest, this one is is pretty amazing. It doesn’t smudge at all and it stays intense throughout the day. I’m quite impressed!

Onto my second favourite product in this set: the face palette. This is just a gorgeous trio, in my opinion, the perfect cheek trio. The bronzer is perfect for my skin tone and looks absolutely gorgeous on the skin, the blush is the perfect for everyday and the highlighter is just perfect. It has the perfect amount of shimmer in it and it has a gorgeous slightly gold undertone.

The quality of these three powders is just incredible. The powders are so insanely smooth and silky and they apply really nicely. They aren’t blotchy at all and they are very easy to blend, so you don’t have to worry about harsh lines. I really like these powders!

Onto my favourite product out of the four; the eyeshadow palette. The palette contains a matte highlighter with a pink undertone, a very pretty shimmery purple shade, the most gorgeous champagne coloured shade, a darker shimmery brown and a deep matte brown. So in other words: it contains everything you need to create a complete eyeshadow look!

Quality wise these eyeshadows are, just like all other products out of this amazing set, absolutely incredible. These are one of the best shadows I have ever tried. The matte shades are so super silky and easy to work with, the shimmery shades are super pigmented and intense as well and they’re really easy to work with. It’s the perfect everyday eyeshadow palette!

Onto the swatches. Isn’t it incredible how pigmented and rich all of the powders are and how intense and soft the eyeliner is. The quality of these products is just beyond amazing and therefore I definitely think this set is worth the money.

The only not that pigmented product in the set is the lipgloss, but since that is a lipgloss it doesn’t have to be super pigmented. But for a lipgloss, it still has quite amazing colour pay off and I really like that. I’m also really loving the scent of the gloss!

Overall I think it’s pretty clear I am in love with this gift set. I think it contains some of the best products I have ever tried and I really like all of the shades in here. The eyeshadow palette contains the perfect everyday colours, the cheek palette is just absolutely stunning, especially the highlighter, the lipgloss is perfect for everyday wear and the eyeliner is  super intense and stays in place really well. I highly recommend this set!
