Bourjois 5 in 1 BB Gloss

A very long time ago I came across Bourjois lipgloss, the BB Gloss. It looked pretty appealing and interesting to me and I decided to give it a try. I have never heard of this product, but since Bourjois is a pretty amazing brand I pretty much knew it would be an amazing product. Today it’s time for the review. The Bourjois BB Gloss comes in the same packaging as the other Bourjois lipglosses. It’s pretty basic. The biggest part is made out of clear plastic and the lid is made out of black plastic. Overall I think it looks very clean, professional and pretty. I like it a lot.

The colour I bought is called Medium Skin. On the picture it seems to be a coral shade, but in real life it’s actually more of an orange/peach shade. I don’t own a lot of lipglosses in this shade, so I think it’s a great addition to my collection.

Even though the colour is called Medium Skin, which sounds to me like it’s made for people with a medium skin tone, I really like the way it looks on me. It looks very natural and it really brightens up my complexion. I think it’s a great everyday lip colour and I think it’s perfect for both formal and informal events and occasions. I really like that about it.

On the front of the tube it says that this lipgloss is protective, moisturising and smoothing. To me that sounds very interesting. If a lipgloss could do all those things while looking pretty at the same time, I’m a fan. And I have to say, I’m a fan. This lipgloss actually moisturises your lips, it feels very smooth and it is protective.

Pigmentation wise it’s just like any other lipgloss. It’s not too pigmented, but you can tell that you’re wearing a coloured lipgloss on your lips. I think this lipgloss really enhances my natural lip colour and adds that last bit of colour I need in order to look healthy and alive.

The lasting power isn’t really outstanding, but it isn’t too bad either. It’s just decent. It stays on your lips for about 2 hours (unless you continuously eat and drink) and I think that’s pretty much okay for a lipgloss like this one.

Overall I think the Bourjois BB Gloss is pretty great. It didn’t blow me away, but that is mainly because I’m not the biggest lipgloss fan in the world, but it didn’t disappoint me either. I think the colour is absolutely gorgeous and I really like the way it feels on the lips and how it actually does something for your lips. If you’re looking for a great basic lipgloss, I highly recommend checking this one out.
