Mixiu Modified Blush

Today it’s time for another Bornprettystore review. I received this gorgeous blush from a brand called Mixiu which I’m super excited about. It’s a gorgeous blush that comes in a gorgeous packaging and that might be pretty great when it comes to quality. Today it’s time for the review. The Mixiu blush comes in a pretty big and sturdy packaging. It’s made out of dark blue plastic and feels like it’s very well made. Even though this is a very affordable product, the packaging doesn’t feel cheap at all and I like that. Something I like about the packaging as well is the fact that it has a mirror inside the lid. This makes it very travel proof and perfect for on the go.

This blush comes in two different shades. One with a very light outside and a slightly darker inside and the one I have which is bright pink on the outside and peachy on the inside. Both shades are really pretty, but I ended up going for this one because it’s just a tad bit more my style.

The blush has a really pretty pattern going on. It almost looks like it’s a flower, but in a more artistic way. The inside of the flower is, as I mentioned before peachy and the outside is bright pink. I really like both colour and I like the way they look together.

The great thing about the pattern is that it’s not only pretty, but it also allows you to choose which colour you want to use. You can decide to use just the inside or just the outside, but you can also go for a combination of both colours. I really like that about it.

Quality wise this blush didn’t disappoint me at all. Because it’s such an affordable product I didn’t want to get my hopes up too high, but I didn’t need to worry about that at all. This blush is incredibly pigmented, maybe a bit too pigmented for my liking and it’s very easy to work with.

It isn’t blotchy, it goes on pretty evenly and it’s easy to blend. The only thing you have to keep in mind while using this blush is that you use a very light hand or a stippling blush, since it’s very easy to go a little overboard with this blush due the insane amount of pigment in this product.

As you can tell from the swatches, I wasn’t lying when I said that this blush is really pigmented. I think it’s great that nowadays even budget brands can create such amazing high quality products. Of course you can’t compare it to brands like MAC, Benefit or Urban Decay, but if you don’t have a budget for brands like that, products like this one are a great option.

Overall I’m quite impressed by this blush. I think the pattern on it is really pretty, I like the packaging a lot and I think the colours are really pretty. I think that it’s an amazing product especially if you consider how affordable it is. So if you’re looking for a new blush for a very affordable price, you might want to give this one a try!
