Sleek Ultra Mattes V2 Palette

Sleek is becoming one of my favorite beauty brands. The quality of their products is just impressively amazing. Today I’ll be reviewing one of their palettes. It’s the Ultra Mattes V2. It’s a gorgeous palette that contains 12 matte eyeshadows. If you’re interested, keep on reading!

The palette comes in the singature Sleek packaging. The outside is completely black with the Sleek logo printed on it, and on the inside is a big mirror. The mirror is very big and clear, which makes it really useful.

The palette isn’t untouched anymore because it has already been swatched before. I hope that doesn’t bother you too much.

The colors in this palette are all quite different than the colors I would usually use, which makes this palette a great addition to my collection. The colors are all matte and really soft.

Some of the colors are definitely for those of you that love experimenting with colors, but there are also very neutral and useful colors in it for people like me that like to keep it natural. I, for example, really love the purply shade and the lighter almost white ones.

These swatches are from the first six colors (first row). As you can tell they are pigmented as crap. I made these swatches using the sponge applicator that comes with it so my fingers wouldn’t get all kinds of colors, but while holding the applicator my hand got purple, black and green anyway.

The lighter shades aren’t very visible on the swatch because, specifically the yellowish tone is very close to my skintone, but it is really pigmented. You have to trust me on that one.

These are the other six colors. As you can tell these are really pigmented as well. This row contains two of my fave colors, which are the brown and the purple (fourth and fifth on the picture). I think it’s really impressive how Sleek can make such amazing matte shades, while other brand really struggle with their matte shadows.

Over all I think this palette is an absolute essential for anyone that loves matte shades, or just wants to add a few different but useful colors to their collection.
